The Library: Home Location & Hours Library Cards Library Jobs Renovation News Vital Records	A library card allows you to borrow materials not only from the Apple Valley Branch Library, but from all the other 27 San Bernardino County branch libraries. A library card is free to obtain and valid for two years. Simply fill out and submit an application, with a current picture identification. Loan periods are as follows: Books - 21 days Periodicals - 21 days Reference Books may not be checked out      Videos - 2 days Cassette tapes - 21 days Items can usually be renewed for one additional loan period, if the item has not been reserved. Renewals can be made by telephone, providing the loan date has not expired. Patrons are responsible for their cards and the materials they borrow. Report a lost or stolen card immediately, as you are responsible for items borrowed on the card until you report its loss. Lost, damaged, or late materials will result in replacement costs or fines. Remember to report any changes in your address, phone number or name as soon as possible.
