The Scenario in Calico is, the town is occupied by the Confederate forces who are defending themselves from Union patrols.

9:30 a.m. - Spencer & Jackson Minstrel Show - South Calico • Children’s Craft Project starts at Pottery Shop - North Calico

10:00 a.m. - Civil War “Ladies of Calico” Bordello at Hanks Hotel - Central Calico • Field Hospital Presentation - South Calico • Mary Todd Lincoln Civil War Exhibit at Lucy Lane House - Central Calico • Rope Making - North Calico • Civil War music with Occasional Strings around town

11:00 a.m. - Inspection of Troops by General Ulysses S. Grant - South Calico and by General Robert E. Lee - North Calico • Mistress’ Kathy and Dutch Civil War Cooking Demonstration in Union Camp - South Calico • Spencer & Jackson Minstrel Show - South Calico

11:45 a.m. - CIVIL WAR BATTLE - Silver Bowl Area - South Calico

3:30 p.m. - Cannon Demonstration at Artillery Point - North Calico • Civilian Corps Ladies Fashion Show - Central Calico

4:00 p.m. - Calico Literary Society hosts Ladies’ Tea with Mrs. Grant at Glassworks - North Calico • Children’s Social at Calico Artisan Shop - Central Calico • Field Hospital Demonstration - South Calico

4:30 p.m. - ACWS Military Brass Band - Central Calico • Spencer & Jackson Minstrel Show - South Calico

5:00 p.m. - CIVIL WAR ROUND TABLE - discussion by Generals Robert E Lee, Ulysses S Grant, and military staff - Central Calico

5:30 p.m. - Retreat the Colours - retire to camp

6:00 p.m. - “FIRE HOUSE BBQ” - Public invited to dine with the Confederate & Union Troops between the Fire House and Calico House Restaurant

7:15 p.m. - Blue & Gray Cotillion at Calico House Restaurant - music by Occasional Strings and called by Capt. Tom Atkins

GHOST WALK - Limited reservations are required, and available between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Photo Shop in Calico.
