| We have a NO Skunk policy, which means if you purchase a lake admission ticket and fail to catch at least one fish for each paid admission, you are allowed to go to our angling pond and catch ONE FREE. Angling pond fish average one pound, the smallest are 3/4 pound and they go over two pounds. We will clean them and pack them on ice for an additional $1.00. Certificate for first time children fishers, if they catch one. Fri, Sat, Sun 7-4. |

| The Location and Managers |
| From the corner of Bear Valley Road and Apple Valley Road, go south on Apple Valley Road (between Target and Nikki's). You will see a sign on the left side, between two flags. Turn left there. Drive toward the trees. You'll see a large area for parking. Just inside the fence is the small building where you will sign-in. The managers (very nice) or one of the volunteers will assist you. |

| The Grounds |

Children may fish from a child's pond (first two pictures), or anyone may fish from tto picturesque stocked lakes (pictures three and five, over 12 acres each). Float tube angling permitted on lake four. The picnic areas offer a comfortable setting for a fish barbecue. Renovations and improvements make this an ideal place for group events and, as early as next spring, special arrangements will be available for weddings. |

| The Fishing |
| Jess Ranch is now operating its hatchery, raising rainbow trout and catfish on the premises and currently purchasing outside fish and raising them in raceways. Large numbers of shimmering trout, catfish, and bass, stock the lakes (weekly stocked). Enjoy a leisurely and relaxing afternoon, interrupted only by the excitement of catches, that will fill the frying pan. Take a fly-fishing class on Fridays at 5pm. We also have a BASS lake for float tubing with barb less hooks - catch and release only. This lake guarantees a lot of action with hundreds of 1 to 2 pound bass, the big ones are there too, but you have to be good to get them. |
